Past Volvo owner with snow tire question 700

I used to be member of this forum but I sold my beloved Volvo 740(1989) and bought a camry. Frankly I no longer miss my volvo and the endless little problems. I do miss Brickboard and its knowledgeable members. Currently I am looking for snow tires for my Camry and am deciding between Noikian and Michelin X-Ice. I am in Toronto, Ontario where the snow fall is not heavy but there a wide variety if conditions from dry road to slush to ice or snow. Any advise?
