ABS vs. non-ABS brake master cylinder 900 1995

Hi. I've got the opportunity to buy a used brake master cylinder, but have to decide within 3 hours. So a quick answer would be appreciated. Can a non-ABS master cylinder be replaced with an ABS master cylinder? My Haynes book only states there is a difference in that the ABS version has a roller pin in addition to the circlip to retain the piston.

I'm able to modify the mounting if needed, but am only worried about perhaps operating differently or designed for different pressures or something. Any ideas?

Thanks for a quick answer...
