My experience is that a car with more than 200k miles is hard to sell for more than around $1500. There are exceptions, but most people simply don't want a car with that many miles. This is especially true when it is leaking oil and the "check engine" light is on, as it would be if the AMM is broken. In that condition, I think you would be lucky to get $1000 - assuming there is no rust, the A/C works, and the interior isn't torn up.
