Don't even think about selling to a dealer; they'll rip you off for sure.

I'd try selling it on craigslist. I bought my car there, and the guy said he had lots of responses. Plus it's free. And of course, post your ad on here.

If that doesn't work after a few days near a weekend, try an ad in the paper.

Price depends a lot on where you live, but don't feel too down if you get less than $1000. I paid $1200 for my car, and it needed nothing and had 101K and a newish paint job (though I think I got a very good deal, and it would've gone for more out west).
