A/C Drain Tube Problems, Any Solutions 200

I think the A/C drain tube is causing my wet carpets on the passengers side. My daughter got a splash of water on her feet (she was sitting in the passenger's seat) while going around a turn with her brother driving. I removed and inspected the rubber tube. It is not clogged. However, near the bottom of the tube, it looks flattened and it really doesn't look like it connects into the bottom of the vehicle very well. The split portion of the tube after the flange seems very short to me. I suspect that water on a hot humid day is backing up and slopping out instead of through the tube.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of problem? Any good solutions?

Thanks,
