Outside temp sensor and where does it go - 95 960 900

l looked thru past forums and find mention of attaching to radiator air plate. Can't see anything under the car and then decided to look at the PO repair bills. I see twice that this air plate appears to have been replaced. So am thinking I am missing this part to attach the sensor today. Looking in wrong place? If not what does this part attach to/look like?
