my car wont start 700

I have a 87 740 that will not run I have had a short ? or something going on for some time the fuel pump relay will buzz or click some of the time it is like i am not getting power to the relay ?? I can jump 30 and 72/2 at the relay plug and get them to run but the car will still not run SOME times the relay will click click click and it will start but as the relay clicks the motor cuts out HELP me i love my brick and want to drive her
