fuel injector wiring... green-red wire splits to four greens... where? 700 1988

Gang,

I'm trying to isolate a possible bad wire in my fuel injection wiring. If you are looking at the front of the car, one of the 8-pronged harnesses on the passenger side in the engine compartment has a green-red wire that goes to the four fuel injectors... somewhere along that path it separates (or rather four wires are spliced into it) into the four green wires that go to each fuel injector.

Does anyone know whereabouts in that path that the split takes place?

The reason I want to know is I need to know how much of the black insulation I need to cut away.

many thanks.

Mike
