760 turbo starting problem 700

okay i was leaving work today and when i was pulling onto the highway, my car wouldn't pick up speeed and was bogging like it was running like it ran out of gas... the turbo wouldn't spool up correctly either. then it just died about 30 secs later and i coasted to a stop. so i walked to the gas station and got a gallon of gas and came back and put it in there and it still wouldn't start.

i can hear the fuel pump make a whirring noise and the engine will turn over, but now it wont start at all.

my guesses were either fuel or electrical problem...

i really have no idea what happened so help me out guys, i love my volvo more than anything and i cant really afford to bring it to someone to fix, i am very mechanical so if it can be done, i can do it. i just need some guidence.
