Check Engine light - how to read? 900

hey thanks! I checked it out. Super easy, and just what I wanted. the little LED and probe were right where they were supposed to be. Here are the results:

Socket 1) 1-1-4 Program selector open-circuit or short-circuit to ground

what the heck does this mean?!?!?! I'll ask in another thread

and

Socket 2) 2-1-2* Signal missing/faulty from oxygen sensor

does this mean that I need to buy a whole new sensor? Are the prices at that AutoParts Warehouse advertised at the top of the page reasonable or inline with what I should pay locally?
