need sugestions for stuck clutch slave cylinder 700

Trying to remove a clutch slave cylinder from a bellhousing with a hydraulic clutch setup. Removed the snap ring but the slave cylinder doesn't want to budge. I've sprayed a bit of PB around the edge. The bellhousing is not in a car. Thinking of maybe applying a little heat or using a larger hammer. Just worried about cracking or stressing the aluminium. Does anyone have any suggestions?
thanks
