I'm considering purchasing a 91 945SE. It has 130200 miles. The dealer claims that it is a one owner trade and has all records. It was listed for 3 days on ebay week before last with a starting price of 4000.00. Well, the dealer wanted 4200, then 4000 and now is willing to settle for 3750.00. The pics look good as does the carfax report. This would be my first turbo (I've wanted one for 6 years!) and would replace my original brick ('89 245 with 191K miles) or my newest one (87 745 with 133K miles, depending on which one my 16yr older wants to drive).
I'll be traveling from El Paso, TX to Dallas to get the car and the dealer is willing to let me walk away if the car has been missrepresented. Anyone have any advice or tips? If you can think of some showstoppers let me know quick...I'm really drooling over this car!
