Is My A/C relay bad? or Is it the Control Board 900

I've got an intermittent A/C in my 93 944 NA. This model has the "A/C Off" type of on/off switch. I have done my detective work and have deduced that either the relay or the control board are bad. 1st, is there even a A/C relay in this car. It's not behind the glove box like in a 740 nor is it behind the center dash as in a 240. The FAQs point to a possible bad solder on the control board. How do I get to the control board? Any other thoughts?

Thanks,
Luke
