Shift Lock not working at all? 200 1988

I just got my car back from the WORST transmission shop in Clarksville, TN and have some issues with it.

1. The Overdrive no longer works. I never used it in the past so I'm not too worried. By no longer works I mean that if I hit the button on the shifter, the lights illuminate but the tranny doesn't downshift. Oh well. The guy wanted to charge me for MORE parts. No thanks.

2. The shift lock does not work at all. Even with the key removed, you can shift the vehicle in whatever gear you choose. I complained about this and he said that they couldn't find the cause.

I'm not so worried about #1 but am very concerned about #2. Any thoughts? I searched the archives and only found cases where the car wouldn't come out of park. Mine comes out...and then some!

Help!

-Chris

P.S. There is actually a #3: The car started blowing tranny fluid after about 10 minutes at highway speeds. I took it back and had them check for a leak. They told me (next day) that the car was overserviced and the AW70 has a overflow for just that reason. When I asked why the car was overserviced in the first freaking place, I was told that since the torque converter was replaced the extra fluid was needed to fill this up. I'm a fairly good mechanic (I work on helicopters by day) but the insides of a tranny is magic to me. Is he blowing smoke up my skirt?
