any ideas to use engine parts swap to diagnose rough idle 200 1989

My fellow Volvo owners,

I currently own 1990 240 DL wagon and a 1989 240 DL sedan.

My 1989 240 sedan (119 K miles) has been idling rough. It still runs fine at speed. It almost feels like a miss but not quite. The engine kind of shakes at idle. The plugs all look good so I don’t suspect one bad cylinder.

Since my wagon is idling smoothly, I did a little parts swapping. I swapped the plugs, wires, rotor and distributor cap. Still, no change.

I have an opportunity to take the sedan on a 6 hour trip. I was thinking of adding some injector cleaner to the tank and taking it to see if I could run the rough idle out of it. Does this sound like a good idea? If so, any suggestions for what additive to pour in the tank?

Any suggestions to get my sedan idling well again would be greatly appreciated. Remember that I have the ability to swap parts from my wagon. Thanks.
