Oh by the way I did as suggested when looking at the 92 244 I was buying. There were only two previous owners and I talked to both. The car has never been wrecked, there is not a scratch on it,,I checked..I got all the service records with it. The dash is not even cracked. The guy I got it from did not know anything about cars. Everytime there was a problem he had the dealer work it.. I have to tell you about this one I found in the stack of dealer records in the glovebox..Symtom, car has slight shutter around 50 mph..(balance in the tires is my guess, common) so the dealer does this. Replaced steering rack, tie rod ends( doesn't that come with the rack?), ball joints and complete front end bushings, new struts and (Oh get this) BALANCED TIRES..Hmmm did they see something coming or what?
