A ventured guess

1983 or 1984.5 242 intercooled B21FTi.

1] lighter than similar 240 sedan or wagon

2] lighter than 700/900

3] M46 had 3.73 axle; AW71 had 3.91, but a taller 1st gear. Tough call.

4] more hp & torque than any but late B230FT/ET, but those only came in heavier chassis.

I have no 0-60 numbers to back any of this up.
