I'm not sure what they are like on the 240s but on a 122 I used a piece of
0.035" high strength steel MIG welding wire, copper clad, and soldered it into
the handle in which I had drilled about a 0.040" hole. It pulled loose a few
days ago but lasted at least 3 years.
