chattering idle 900

All,
Just purchased a 92 940, 145,000 miles. The idle chatters/stutters: it idles smooth for about 5 seconds, then it like stutters or vibrates for 1-2 seconds, then smooth again. Repeats this cycle frequently. Have changed plugs, cleaned the throttle body, and cleaned the IAC valve. Sprayed water around the injectors - no change in idle- so I suspect injector o-rings are ok. Can't see or hear a leaky vacuum hose. Hoping it is just dirty injectors - put some additive in the tank. So any ideas?
