Fuel Tank Sending Unit 700 1986

Hi Guys,

Well, my fuel gauge doesn't work in my '86 740 GLE and the wire to the fuel tank sending unit is corroded completely off, so it looks like I've got to replace the sending unit. I attempted to search the local pic-and-pull yards for one, but they seem to be in just as bad shape as mine. So, my question is, what do these sending units cost new? Is there an aftermarket parts source in North America that sells them cheaper than the Volvo dealer?
