What color is the engine? 200

If it was a rebuild engine in exchange - you could find the engine no. not matching your car.
If you don't have data showing your specific car no.'s - it's a bit more of work - but a Volvo dealer should be able to confirm the chassino. with an engineno.

Sorry to say, but reading many other threads here, it seems that Volvo dealers in US doesn't give much for the classic bricks owners.. Here in Denmark, last year, a friend of mine got hold of a '59 PV 544 from a family who had lost their keys (the car was off a dead grandfather, they couldn't find any keys) Anyway, we contacted Volvo, gave up the chassisno. and 2 weeks later, keys for ignition and doors was in the mail. THAT'S service!

So, the record IS there - it just up to the service-department to help you!
