Drivetrain lurch when taking foot off the gas at highway speed 900 1993

I have to 940's my 93 wagon which I've had for a few years and my 95 sedan which I've had for about 1 month. When drive the wagon at say.. anywhere above 50 mph, removing my foot from the gas quickly will make the drivetrain lurch as it switchs to engine braking.

If I remove my foot slowly I can get the transition to be smooth.

My new sedan does not do this, under all circumstances, when letting off the gas everyting is nice and smooth.

I flush my tranny every 20k. The car has about 145k on it and shifts fine otherwise.

It almost feels like there is some play in the drive line somewhere.

Tranny mount??? to the best of my knowledge its original.

TIA,
Matt
