Newbie with lots of Questions 1800 1965

Just bought a '65 1800 from Southern CA. (There are not too many for sale here in OK so I had to go to the "outside".) Had a friends brother do an PP inspection for me. He was supposed to know what he was doing as he was an Austin Healey guy. I asked him to concentrate most of his inspection on rust. He called and said the car had amazingly little rust. Actually, he ranted about what a great car this was. His opinion was it was in great condition, probably only needing a minor tune-up. I jumped on it. When it arrived I could not believe my eyes. It is so rusty and full of filler and f'glass. Mostly in floor pan, rockers and structural tunnels along the floor.
Oh well.....Live and learn. I'm trying to decide if I will work through it or sell it and start over. I have a couple of issues that need immediate attention as well as lots of other "minor?" stuff I need help with.

1.) The carrier bearing rubber disc is shot. It is in two pieces. It is approx. 6" in diameter and is held in place by a metal half-hoop with a bolt on each side. The hoop is approx. 150 degrees,...not quite 180 degrees. I am told by a couple of parts houses that this is a later style carrier that someone has retrofitted to an early car. It looks like this is the original as the mounting holes for the reteiner hoop look factory. Any ideas?

2.) The throttle linkage appears to be missing bushings that support the throtle bellcrank. Are these available? I am only getting about half use of out of the carbs.

3.) The motor has a cast number "B20" "4969". There are two machined part number pads to the right of this cast number but I can not make out any marks on the first pad. The second pad is metal stamped "15265".
The car ID tag shows the following:
Type 18345 VE
Ch Nr 12836
Color 46
Upholst 308-266
I assume someone has replaced the B18 motor with a B20. Can someone supply the specs of this motor from the info above?

Thanks for any help.

DLG
