rides rough 900 1997

Over the past few months the ride comfort in my 97 960 has slowly been deteriorating. I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I was in another 960 which felt much smoother.

The best word to describe it is harsh. When going over bumps it just kind of bangs over them now and it feels very jarring inside.

Is this a problem of springs/shocks/struts/bushings? And it doesn't seem to be limited to any one corner of the car, front, rear, right or left. Hitting a pothole or bump on any side of the car seems equally rough. Do these things wear out and the same rate?

I'm not very knowledgeable about suspensions and would appreciate some tips here. What am I looking at?

Thanks!
