idle/stalling problem 200 1993

Reposting to add year

Well I got my 1993 245 started yesterday & everything was sort of fine (some unevenness) until I took off the neg. battery terminal to do some other work. When I put it back, the car wouldn't start again. This is how the problem started, I disconnected the neg. terminal when I changed the oil (so I don't accidentally short the alternator) and it kept stalling after that.
I checked the battery ground & it seems fine.
