High pitched whine from fuel pump AND hunting idle. 900

Last Friday morning,my 94 944T's idle suddenly began hunting after a short trip.Tach and idle fluctuating between 600-800 rpm.Sometimes problem goes away.Sometimes it changes when shifting from Park to Reverse or Neutral.Bypassing IAC while manually increasing throttle or just unplugging IAC seems to cure hunting.Points to IAC,right?BUT-I noticed while troubleshooting a pretty loud whine coming from the fuel pump-can hear it from driver's seat.Never heard it before-coincidence?Fuel filter needs changing-it's got over 60K on it.Will report back with results.sredwine 940T has 154K,V90 has 87K
