87 240 won't run for more than 10 minutes. Please tell me how I fixed her? 200 1987

My 87 240 with 300,000 mi. starts and runs fine for 10 mi. then stalls out and then will run a little more and stall out then totally die and will not start for about 10 more min.

OK, when I finally get her started she will idle fine, as soon as you hit the gas she stalls.

So here is what I replaced this weekend:Air Mass Meter,Ignition control modual, Fuel filter, cleaned the throttle body and the injectors all with no change at all!! (Thank God I had these parts laying around)

So I tapped on the (ECU) Electronic control unit, blew the dust out of the distributer(not a lot) and put a new rotor on (the old roter was a bear to get off) she now runs fine. What did I do? How did I fix her? somebody please tell me!!! Thank you very much in advance for all your input on this.
