Gray market parts car 200 1986

I have a 1986 240 parts car that I bought ten years ago because I needed the nose to fix another 240.What is strange about this car is that it has a carbuerator with manual choke,M47,limited slip rear,no ac,heater controls are not like regular 240's, with 4 rotating control wheels. It also has side turn signals in the fenders.
I was told it was a gray market car, as someone put a converter on the engine pipe and some evaportive canister. Also ignition is a simple distributor with external box,no computer.
I live in New York and never seen another.
