I defer to he expertise of Mr. Sargent, as well I should. You don't want to be stuck w/o your speedometer. As for getting a correct rear end, you might try a guy in Rosendale named Paul, whose phone number I no longer have. He has a lot of volvo wrecks and parts cars as part of a repair shop (not Volvo-related) across the river from you. Cross the bridge into New Paltz, take a R onto Putt Corners Road right after you cross the Thruway. Go about one mile then L down Shivertown Road to Rt 32, then R (N) on 32 until you're in the middle of Tillson, then left across from the Inn onto Tillson Road. Paul is at the end of Brooks, which is a R a few blocks from the Inn He's at essentially the end of what is almost a dead-end street. You might search Switchboard.com or similar for repair shops in Tillson--I would guess his is the only one. He's there M-F until late afternoon, then often on Sat. I will ask a friend of mine who has his # to forward it to me so I can get it to you.
