Fuel system maintenance 700 1989

I have an 89 MY 745GLE B230 with Bosch K (continuous injection). Note this is a UK spec car i.e. no cat, totally mechanical injection system. In 11 years and 100k miles I have NEVER touched the innards of the FI system i.e. never cleaned the throttle body or the fuel pressure reg. It has had one new fuel filter in this period and regular flame trap/ breather cleaning. It runs well, about the same fuel consumption as it's always been so I'm reluctant to mess with it. I should say it has regular oil changes every 5k (Castrol GTX) with Volvo filters and it could be that UK gas is cleaner than US?. Should I still do a fuel system clean-up and, if so, why? I have, of course, read the FAQ on this but still wonder whether to leave be. I'm probably a member of the "if it aint broke, don't fix it" school. Your opinions would be most welcome. Regards.
