Ending a myth -- easy '86-on headlights to 7' rounds, using truck parts 200

Hi, all.
There's been a widespread myth on this list that it's relatively easy and cheap to change from '86-on headlights to 7" rounds (thus allowing Cibie H4 E-codes). In fact, I just answered a post far below about this. But I thought that I would offer the following, just to dispell this misinformation once and for all!

Actually, those parts:
8026546, $296.00, for one side (they're slanted, so you need one on each side)
8026545, $279.49, for the other side.

...are ONLY the bezels to surround the 7" round headlights (they're nothing but an empty shell, a cover to fill in the space around the headlights) -- I know this for a fact, because I bought them. And I'm still working on the project, in order to finish this. To complete the conversion, you still need the hardware to hold the headlights, allow them to be aimed, and mount them to the bulkhead -- that's more money! And, this stuff don't provide any attachment for the parking lights, so you also have to fabricate something to hold those in place, too!

Those Volvo truck parts are just the beginning! It's a nice approach to the problem of these nasty headlights, but it's not as easy or cheap as the myth promulgates.
