Need Tip & Tricks to re-install heater unit (1980, 240) 200 1980

I have replaced the heater core on my Daughters 1980 242 and am ready to re-install the heater unit (ughh).
Are there any helpful tip/tricks to make this go as smooth as possible?
Such as what goes in before the heater unit?
Which hoses to I attach before and which go on after install of the unit?
How do I figure out which vacuum line goes to what?
I am really dreading this and can use all the support I can get…
