1995 940s struts and shocks 900 1995

Gidday from down under.

I am guessing from the the talk about the guy with the 965 looking at strut options there was a change around 1995?
I have a 1995 built 940s and need to replace my struts and shocks.
I ahve been give a quote for Bilsteins all round at about twice the price of something ordinary.
I like the idea of having the best if they really are better. I would consider ordering some in from overseas but I need to be sure that they will be suitable for my car first.
Does anybody know what part/model numbers of suitable shocks and struts are for my car or do I just have to go to Volvo and get originals.
