Intermittent ACC on my 760T???? 700 1987

Possible engine coolant temp sensor problem. There is a temp sensor tee'd in to one of the heater hoses. It should have a single white wire to the sensor and a ground wire attached to the metal tee piece. If this sensor or wiring is faulty, it could cause problems. Note that with that system, if coolant temp is below a specified point, (I forget the spec) and a heating function is selected, the fan will not run till the coolant starts warming up, except on defrost.
