ECU part number 700

I recently recovered my stolen 86 760 230FT wagon ( alllright!) and have discovered that the ECU on the passenger side footwell is missing.

After checking out FCP Groton for the part #, they list it as 0 280 000 591, the last 3 digits being the important ones.

Another site lists the # as 541

I understand they quit using older models and replace them with different, newer ones....but that leaves me hanging.

Ebay has about 50 online right now, some are going for peanuts, I'd like to find out which ones could be compatible with the turbo engine.

An evil question, I know, but has anyone got any suggestions??

Thanks! Josh
