Towbar fitting 200 1988

Hi,

I've got the opportunity of purchasing a towbar at a local on-line auction that is claimed to be OEM for a 244/240. But from the measurements the seller has given I'm not sure it is correct (or will fit). He said it's about 34.5" between the vertical mounts and about 35.5" between the horizontal flanges. Does this sound right for my 240 sedan? The auction is here:
