I wonder if I damaged anything else. 200 1983

Fellas:
My cat converter has been rattling for quite sometime. A couple of days ago, I experienced a severe loss of power and a high pitced noise. I knew right then that my cat converter finally was clogged. I drove the remaining 30 miles home using secondary roads at about 35mph. Took the cat converter out, and sure enough, the screen/honeycomb material has taken the shape of a plug and was blocking the pipe. I ordered one from FCP Groton but it won't be here 'til next week. I then broke the element into pieces to get it out of the converter and re-installed it just so I can use the car until I get the new converter. Question is: is there any possibility that I damaged something else in the process of the driving the car 30 miles at low speed with a clogged cat? Car runs great right now. BTW, the converter isn't too old. About a year and a half. One of those cheapy ($68)ones from Auto Zone. You get what you pay for, I guess. And I don't think the engine condition caused the cat's premature demise. I had it analyzed before I installed the new exhaust system and it was in tip-top shape. Any input? Thanks!
Denny
