Reverse switch attachment on gearbox - where did it go? 120-130

Is it essentially opposite the od lockout switch? There is a two-prong switch coming out of the long top cover aft of the gearbox on the driver's side. This is somewhat crunched up against the side of the trans tunnel as installed in the 122. Don't know what this is, and nothing is connected to it.

I assume you are talking about something forward on the lid of the gear box itself?

Sorry for the idiocy of this, but I can't find a diagram of this setup anywhere, and I'm feeling blindly above the transmission from under the car. Even the 1800 shop manual from Volvo doesn't have a picture.
