Flame Trap Replacement 200 1981

Your car has the B21 F engine in it. The flame trap isn't all that bad to replace. The hoses going to it usually need to be replaced with it. Reach under the manifold and pull the old trap out. Depending on how many miles your car has you may want to pull the plasic box that the flame trap hooks to and clean it out or replace it. They can get clogged up, too. IPD sells a flame trap relocation kit that puts it above the intake manifold. This should work on your '81.
