Zenith vs SU 120-130

hi, i have a b18 engine with a single carb zenith, this looks very similar to that of a s3 landrover, and on these engines thay are crap, is this carb ok on the 1800 engine? also the kind of running/milage/preformance differences are there between these two carbs? also witch manifold should i use, at the muinit i have the combo castiron one but i am worryed about it draining eficency.
