DECISION TIME...fix it or sell it? 700 1988

Tough call...I had an '88 244 that had the same problems, smog, front end (uneven tire wear and couldn't hold alignment for long)....the nail in the coffin was that the tailight caught on fire. I sold it for $1,250 and was happy to get rid of it at the time. Now I miss that car. Unless you're hard up for the money, why not wait and think over selling it. If you're like me, you'll be thinking of the money you can make while you're keeping it, and then you'll miss it once you sell it. Either way there's a downside. My advice would be: if you don't need the money, keep it around.
