Headlight Relays 120-130

Tom;

I didn't have much to add to your first post (unusual!) so I'll say welcome to the Forum here!

I know what you mean about "Air-Head Electrics"...one of these days I'll figure out some upgrades for them too...as far as for your Amazon, unless your upgrading the headlight elements (and therefore drawing more current than they were originally designed for) its not necessary to increase the wire gauge or add relays, but it is always a good idea to limit voltage drops along the way*...this means clean, snug connections for the ENTIRE current path, and treated with anti-corrosive paste (so they'll stay that way).

Upgrades: If you will be upgrading the electrical system, including installing H4 headlight elements, I recommend you start is at the power source: Upgrade to a 60A alternator...(but even if not. I highly recommend upgrading the fuseblock! see below)...that way you'll have a solid source to power everything AND still charge the Bat. Bosch or Delco options are available, but everyone around here knows what I recommend.

...more later...
