M46 installed in 88/245 got problems 200 1988

I pickup a 245 wagon about september and all I thought about was to put a M46 under the car. Well I did that this weekend and it's in, the problem is no OD. I've read all the old post and the FAQ's. The M46 came out of a 85/244.This car had a shift indactor? with cruise control. I put all of it in my car just as it came out of the old, repaired the wires on the M46 and made the job neat under the dash. The OD does not do a thing. When I push in the clutch the orange arrow light's up, What about a netural saftey switch how did that work are did the 85 car even come with one. I put the blue wire on the two spade on the instrument panel on the back all so the orange wire on that second spade. There is a brown wire that is hooked up to the green and purple wire that goes to the switch on the clutch pedel on the cruise. Is is possible that the Relay is bad what about the blue wire that goes to the coil do I need that and where does it go from the coil to where. Somebody out there knows what to do I dont have a wiring dia for this set up does anybody out there have one they can post. I've got a week to get this car rolling since I sold my other 88/245. Thanks for all the output you can give me.
Thanks
Rodney
