Anyone remember the OEM CB Radio?

Technically, it wasn't *optional* on any 240.

Until the mid 80s, Volvos arrived at the dealer sans radio. Dealers bought stocks of radios from VCNA and kept them on the shelf. (A few profit-hungry dealers would sell unbranded, lower quality units.) Some dealers stuck in a radio to sell the car, but would change if the customer wanted something else. Other dealers left the hole and just put in whatever the buyer wanted.

Choices:

AM only
AM/FM mono
AM/FM stereo
FM/8-track
AM/FM/8-track
AM/FM/casette
AM/FM/casette *recorder* (name: Top Executive)
AM/FM/CB 23-channel (before the 40 was legal)
AM/FM/CB 40-channel
Micro4 (AM/FM/casette with digital tuning)

Nowadays, the 8-track and CB models are pretty scarce. A few collectors are willing to pay big dough for them in good working condition.

However, you seem to be lacking the CB microphone, which really reduces the value.
