rear tranny seal and wire questions 200 1989

hey, bricknuts!

today I was continuing my observation of my undercarriage after my tranny swap a week ago. the place said the front and rear tranny seal was changed. exactly where is the rear tranny seal? reason I ask is there seems to be a very slight "seep" in the place where the tapered end of the tranny mates to the driveshaft. I used a clean white tissue to confirm that the fluid was pink in color. there is no visible drip on the ground or any fluid overspray on the undercarriage, as would happen when one drives with a leak of any sorts. it was just a single drip that didn't look like it was gonna fall. is this where the rear tranny seal is located? could the seep be residual atf or just the "break-in" process of a new seal? it's not bugging me much, but would like to read some opinions from seasoned volvo nuts and diagnosticians.

second question is what is this wire that seems to loop near the rear of the transmission and the O2 sensor wire and then goes back the driverside of the tranny pan and then kinda disappears? there was a bare part in the insulation, just at the point where it links with this plastic connector. I taped it up using the black tape that has fibers meshed into it. the electrician's tape I first used was too weak in stickyness, so I had to use that.
