Mixed clutch bits 120-130

I took my M41 apart last winter to replace some broken syncros (#1 and #3 in my case). Other than the typical wrenches and sockets all I had to buy in terms of special tools was a heavy duty snap ring expander - about $15 at Sears. I used a piece of plastic pipe for the layshaft dummy - it doesn't have to be *perfect* diameter, just pretty close. I got some excellent instructions from the VClassics website. It all came apart pretty easily and went together easily (leaving out the part where I tried to use some other M40 parts which didn't quite fit with the M41 parts). And once put back in the car it all works too - syncros on all 4 gears, no gear noise.

At the time I didn't get a gasket set and reasssembled it using some gasket sealer. It *ahem* leaks a little. So I ordered a gasket kit and I'm going to install it while the trans is out (engine is being rebuilt) - I figure there won't be a time when it is any easier than now to fix that issue.
