Throttle sticks at WOT! Ack! 200 1985

Hello all,

Just noticed last night that my throttle will stick fully open if I got Wide Open Throttle! Quite scary to say the least - had to push in the clutch and listen to her bounce off redline a few times before shutting it down on the side of the highway. After I messed with the throttle wheel and the accellerator pedal a bit, it came unstuck. I've verified that when this happens (tried it twice with the same results), the accelerator pedal is not physically stuck to the floor, so it's not a floormat problem - it must be something with the cable or throttle wheel. Any one else run into this?
