If she doesn't have a lot of money for future repairs, you might want to avoid the bells and whistles and additioal complexities associated with the 960/S90. The 940 will probably suit her better.

Originally the 960's cost more than the 940's. Today they are about the same price. Tomorrow the 940's will fetch more $.
