Help getting power seats down for headliner removal. 700

So Im trying to put the good headliner from my wrecked 88 t60t into my 87 744t. The problem is none of the electric stuff in the car works(the 760) so I cant get the seats to recline. I also cant get to the rear seat mounting bolts due to the seats positions and the fact that the pillar in the middle on one side is caved in about 12 inches from the accident. Any ideas on a release for the seats or what I should break to get them to recline? My only other thought is to break the rear window and pull it out that way... then again I really want to take the carpet out of this car and cant do that with the seats in place. Thanks in advance for any advice.
