Volvo Blunder? 200 1988

After working on my DL to get it to pass emissions, it just hit to check to see if there are any codes even though the light was not on. So I go to look for the black box but wait there is no box. hummm. Thats odd or is it? There is no sign or wiring that shows that there was one, so how do I check to see if there are any ECU fault codes?
Also my DL has GL wheels, the Corona Wheels, was this an option? And one more thing is it came with the standerd speakers in the front doors but it also has oval speakers on the rear deck and speakers in the back door, yes thats 6 speakers, was that another opition. And finnaly it needs a paint job and I want to use the orginel paint color, it is that smurf blue, what is the prober name of it and the number. The PO said when she brought it new in 88 that how it was. The PO is a relative of mine so she cant be pulling my leg. Man I must a 1 of a kind car.

Thanks,
Ace
